Partial-data search in Sherlock Report lets you enter only what you know. The form has no mandatory fields: start with a surname, age or part of a birth date.

Fields you can use

Last, first and middle name

Fill only the parts of the name you know.

Day, month and year of birth

The date uses separate fields; a complete date is not required.

Age and age range

The menu includes Age, Age from and Age to.

Birthplace

An additional field to help refine matches.

How to build a query

Open the partial-data search section in the bot.
Enter the details you know. Do not invent dates or names to fill gaps.
Check the selected country: the screenshot shows Russia. See the menu for available choices.
Select Search. Refine the fields if needed or use Reset to clear them.

If there are multiple matches

A surname or approximate age may not identify a unique match. Refine the query using known details and check results against original sources. Optional fields do not mean that a result is guaranteed.
